Photography
Hi, I’m Cyndi — a Texas photographer with a passion for capturing life both in and out of the arena. I’m a proud mom to my son Dakota, a United States Marine, and dog mom to my corgi, Roper. Coffee fuels my days, and storytelling fuels my heart. Whether I’m photographing the grit of rodeo life or the tenderness of a family moment, I’m drawn to the quiet beauty in people, culture, and the simple moments worth remembering. Every image I create reflects the authenticity, warmth, and spirit of the lifestyle I love
Photography that holds onto the moments time can't take way.
I didn’t set out to become a photographer — I just wanted to hold onto the moments that made me feel something. From cheering in the stands at local rodeos to snapping pictures of family and friends, I found joy in capturing the little details that often go unnoticed. Over time, that joy became my purpose — telling stories through images that last long after the moment fades.
While my son Dakota was growing up, I tried to capture every moment — from ringside at goat shows to archery competitions. What started as a joke with friends turned into a tradition. I began noticing that while all the moms were cheering in the stands, no one was capturing their moments — the pride, the nerves, the tears, and the laughter. So every year, I made it my mission to photograph it all — the good, the bad, and yes, even the ugly (lol).
Outside of portrait sessions, you’ll find me behind the lens at rodeos, concerts, and community events — places where energy, heart, and soul come alive. I’m drawn to the realness of these moments — the dust in the air, the laughter between friends, and the pride that shines through every handshake and smile. Those are the details that tell a story far beyond the frame.
What I love most about this kind of photography is that it’s never staged. It’s raw, unpredictable, and full of emotion — from the intensity of a bull ride to the quiet calm after the lights dim. Each event reminds me why I fell in love with capturing life in its truest form. My goal is to freeze those moments in time — the grit, the grace, and the connection — so that every photo reflects not just what you see, but what you feel when you look back at it.
